Hello… I’m still alive!! (long post)

Well the year is coming to an end and same with all of my Scrappy commitments…

Firstly I would like to send out a huge congrats to all the NEW Scrapbook Memories Masters for this year, especially my Tassie girl Emma Allen. I hope you all have a fantastic year with the Magazine, I know I sure did!

I have Started working full time now, so all scrappy things have had to take a back seat, so I am ending all my commitments so that I’m not letting any teams down… time to scrap for the fun of it.

So here are my Last DT projects for 2010

Firstly WIOIN kits examples for December. They are finishing up kits for a little while, but they still have items for sale…

I have used the Boy Kit this month.

I am attempting the daily December Album this year… so far so good. I got the kit from WIOIN and I think they still have some left so pop on over and have a look.

Well I thought I would get some scrapping done this Month…. But not so much! Now that I have no SBM assignments to do and a month off from WIOIN I was lacking in the “creative juices”.

We have been doing heaps of family adventures, which has been great… We were heading to the City on the weekend and were lucky enough to go through the Snow. We were not dressed for the snow, but I still got a couple of photos… as all scrappers do!

Well back from the Brisbane Expo and had a ball!

Never knew teaching would be so much fun and the wonderful people you meet along the way was even better! So I had a Tutors wall to fill while up there and here are a few of them that I would love to share. I did have more but the LOVELY Kristy from SBM came and took some for publication so I didn’t need to post them… how nice was that :) The first 3 were from the sneaks I posted before Brisbane and the rest are ones I didn’t get around taking photos of before I left.

The next 2 are from the Addicted to Craft wall that wwas displayed at Brisbane as well as SIA this year

My Brisbane sneaks :)

Not long now for the Brisbane expo and I have been scrapping up a storm! I needed to fill a 2 meter wall of layouts… So I needed to get some new ones done. So here are a few sneaks of the creations I have been working on over the last couple of days.

I’m sorry that’s all I can share atm… but after Brisbane I will post the real deal! I just thought I best let you all see that I still do scrap! Even if its few and far between atm. Still got more to do, hoping to get another 5 done to take with me.

Hope to see some of you in Brisbane… I’ll be @ Addicted to Craft and floating around checking EVERYTHING out for the whole 3 days.

Also I am teaching a Mini Album class @ the Brisbane expo in June and here is the little sneaky of that… I am using MME Lush range and some Prima. So if you are heading to the Expo check out the class if not come find me, I would LOVE to put names to Faces ;)

Been a bit busy of late...

Hello All :)

Just a little up date... I am still around but just life has got in the way! My DH got a job transfer to the other side of the state and it was a very fast turn around. So between packing, moving, unpacking and packing its been hetic!

So no time to scrap :( I am currently living in between the new house and Mum's till the end of school term so I have only been doing assignments for DT... so nothing to share just yet!

Well the creative side is lacking atm… I can’t seem to make things work for me, hope it will be back soon!

Welcome April and of course Easter Bunny!!

I have been lacking in the creative side of things last month… but I do have a couple of shares from WIOIN April vintage kit. I got to use the YUMMO kit this month and I just loved it! So here they are

So head on over and check out all the other Fantastic Kits for April, but be quick as they are selling FAST!!!

Last of all I have been doing projects for Buzz and Bloom and Addicted to Craft but I can’t share any just yet… But I can share a sneaky of a Buzz page that is now up on the blog.

I got to use the NEW CB- Butterflies, they are so cute! I also have a lot more of the new ranges that I have used… so keep your eye on the blog. Of course I have been busy with SBM projects as well all things I cant share, but keep your eye out for them in the Mag. Also I am so excited I have the next cover for SBM, due to go on sale around the 13th April. I didn’t even know that I was getting that one so it was a great surprise!

I hope to scrap more this month then last and have more to share :) HAPPY EASTER to you all

Well nearly Easter time again!! the year going too fast. I have been scrapping a bit but nothing I can share atm…. BUT I can share that I will be teaching a class at the Brisbane Expo in June for Addicted to Craft, I’ll let you know more closer to date. But I do know a lot of the ATC girlies will be there for the long weekend so look out!! But I do have a page I can share that I did for 3 Angels Scrapping for there CC, it was the sketch.

Here are my examples for march WIOIN Kits. I got to play with the boy kit “Rough and Tumble” this month. For a bargain price of $18.95!!

I have used kit only and added the Alphas and inks from my stash with still plenty more left over.

Just a little bigger!

Well as for most of you the Kids are back at school now.... and I am feeling a little lost! My youngest is now full time school so I have lost my little coffee buddy :( but I thought I would go back and see the difference from this year to the last on their first day of school. So on the Left is last years and right is this years. My boy has lost his "Little boy" face and My Girl has grown tall! Ashlee's sunglasses are simmilar to last years but of course we have gone from Wiggles to Hannah Montana lol. Those of you who don't know, Ashlee has to wear sunglasses at all times when she is outside because she has facial palsy of the right side and is unable to blink to stop the glare. Also that is why she has the unique lopsided smile...

So thats my little trip down memory lane!!

I guess you would of heard that I am one of the Masters for Scrapbooking memories for this year. A HUGE secret to keep for soooooooooo long and I am SORRY to those who I had to tell a "white lie" to, expecially my dear dear scrapping freinds in Tassie who I had to look in the eye and say "No no phone call here!" lol. Many thanks to all the girls who have messaged me and left comments here about it all, I felt a little special!
So I send out a HUGE congrats to all the fellow Masters I bet you all found it as hard as me to keep quite!! Also a HUGE congrats to all the girls who made the HM, some AMAZING work there! but an extra special WOOT WOOT for my Tassie girls who made the list SUSAN, EMMA & WENDY.

This is a page I did for the room challenge over @ Bons for January.

I always love the rooms they choose, with this one I went with the colours and the boy feel to the room.

Now don't fall over... I did cards! My son has a birthday party on the weekend and he asked me "Can you please scrapbook a card for me?"

How could I say "sorry mum dosen't do cards!" lol

So while I was doing the card thing I decided I would do one for my sisters 40th that is this weekend as well, I was happy with the result in the end.

Well another week into the new year! and we have been house bound for it because Ashlee got Chicken pox! Not nice for a 5 year old on school holidays :(

But we did loads of stuff @ home including Sing star... which santa gave her and she LOVES it. Here are some photos to show her getting into it.

But with the spots nearly all gone and no scars (Thankfully) she had a trip to the movies today with daddy and big brother to watch the new Chipmunks movie.

hope you all had a great Christmas and New years :) But santas been and gone again for another year, so the count down is on again! Our Newest addition!

This is our new little kitten Ruby.

The kids have wanted a kitten for years and we finally gave in (how couldn't you when you see her!) She is a Persian cross (Mums pure Persian) so she is multi grey and white, she is just the CUTEST!! So it was an early christmas prezzie for the kids and the look on their faces was better then Christmas morning! She is going to be a well loved kitty....

I wish you all a VERY MERRY Christmas and hope you stuff your bellies full of christmas goodies, I know I will!!

This is my last share for November and its the sketch for November over @ SAVVY.

Tomorrow I will have all my CT pages to share from White with 1 and What is old is new.

As you an proberly tell I am a challenge Junkie!! I love to do challenges gets the creative juices going and gets me thinking outside my norm. So here is a couple of pages I did on the weekend.... There was so many CC on the weekend, so I got loads of challenges to do!

This is a challenge I did for Scrapboutique Cyber crop on the weekend.

This was the sketch challenge. Other criteria for the sketch was you had to write or use a rubon on the photo. So I used both!

I did a couple of challenges over at BONS on the weekend for their Cyber crop.

This is Bon's colour challenge.

You had to use Blue, red, black, white and teal.

other criteria was photo of a friend/friends and heart felt journaling.

I chose a photo of my DD and her BFF on their first day @ kinder. I wrote about how proud I was of them on their first day.

This was Skye's Sketch challenge

You had to also add to your page Fabric and dots and checks together.

OMG I struggled as I'm not a fabric type of girl!

I have had to keep that a secret and let me tell you that was hard!

Can't wait to get started with all the other chosen girls for 2010, it's great that there are Ladies on the team from all over the world. I'm going to do a blog roll of all there names soon (Blogger is not letting me atm!) so you can all check them out and say hello :)

Just a little update and I have to remove a few of last months pages because they have been picked up for publication, which is fantastic....but it will leave my blog a bit on the empty side :)

A face lift!

Well it is Spring and a face lift was in order!! Im seeing everyone updating their blogs and they all look fantastic so I thought I will give it a go!

There was so many to choose from but this one was one of my fav's... I will update with Lo's soon, yet to take the photos because of the RAIN and gloomy days here in Tassie. So be warned there will be a overload when I do as I have my mojo back and have been scrapping up a storm!!

Well the Scrapping Mojo has been on Holidays! and I can't seem to get the creative juices flowing.... so I only have few to share for the past month, Im hoping it will return soon. Maybe my DD birthday photos will do that!! So here are the few pages I have done recently...........

My little girls first day at school today and I had to share this photo of her, she looks so grown up!! There were no tears from either of us, she was just so excited to be a big girl and be going to school on her own. Now I am home alone 2 days a week, I should be able to get some scrapping done!

Use ephemera, something that is non scrap related but that will relate to your layout you are creating. This is my example for White with 1 for Febuary. This is my Last month on the Ct, I have had a wonderful 12 months with the team and now its somebody elses turn to have a go!! So stay tuned for the CT call out. This months criteria is all white. This page is about when my DD asked to have a shorter hairstyle, she has gone from hair down to the middle of her back to a bob style. She just loves it and thinks she is so grown up!!

This page is about my DS on Christmas day having a swim in Susan Longmans DS and DD swimming pool they got off Santa. It was just a little fresh in the water.... On the weekend we went to Hobart for the weekend for a bit of a break.... While there we went to Cliffton Beach for a swim. It was really overcast and windy but really HOT. So I got some photos while there and was having a bit of a play around with the exposure and colour when I laoded them on the computer and I loved how these 2 turned out. I love playing around with the photos I have heaps of our weekend away, we went to Port Aurthur as well so there will be some Lo's to come with those ones!

This is a very CHEEKY photo of my DS when he was around 3 years old.

Here is the Stash Stompers challenge for Scrap Boutique for January. This is a page about my DD cutting my DH hair for him. She got so excited doing it and when then end result was "Just Perfect" a little patchy but "Perfect" through her eyes. We had to do a little touch up without her knowing.

Well as you all can see I have been a little light on with the posts of late, but as we all are BUSY BUSY BUSY Scrapping has been a little less in the past fortnight............ This is my example for a challenge I set for week 2. There are 2 challenges per week and we have set quite easy criteria to get the creative juices flowing. New ones will be up on Monday.

The "grown up" page is for Mysticals Insperational monthly challenge, go on over and have a look at all the other monthly challenges and also the christmas challenge. The "Starting Young" page is one for Puzzles sketches monthly challenge. this is the first time I have done this challenge and I loved it.... So I am going to try and give it a go every month :)
