Last post for 2008

The time has come........... The end of 2008 BUT in 2009 there is loads going so go on over tomorrow and check out Scrap the Boys for their revamped Blog and their January challenge and also Scrap the girls will have a new challenge up and same with white with 1 for January. I will have some examples to post tomorrow for the challenges. Over at Mystical there will be new challenge in the challenge thread for some scrappy fun. There will also be a CC happening on the second weekend in January so stay tuned.

Well that all for me for 2008 and I will see you all in 2009.....

Well here is some more of my Mystical Dt pack for December. I loved how this one turned out... a bit of this and a bit of that :) I have used items from swaps that Em and Kayla have made thanks girls.

This is the last Lo I have done from my Mystical Dt pack for December, just scraped it in! I have a great Dt pack for January which I can't wait to get started on, the new Sass Lass Xmas range and a bit of Mr Campy and some more Sass Lass..... I have used a swap item on this Lo so thanks to you.

A Christmas Note :)

Well as you all can see I have been a little light on with the posts of late, but as we all are BUSY BUSY BUSY Scrapping has been a little less in the past fortnight............ BUT I do have to announce that I made the Scrap the Boy's Ct and with in the new year there will be some fantastic challenges happening over there. So go on over there in the new year and check it out.
I have done a few pages in the past week, but they are all Ct stuff which I can't share until January 1st.

So Merry Christmas and I will have a couple of posts before the new year to share with you all....

Another Christmas one!

I have been trying to get all my Xmas photos from last year done so I can start on this years. I'm nearly there! just a few more to go..... then onto this years :)

Just a few more......

Well I thought I better upload a few as when the new month starts I will have plenty more to share! With white with 1 new December challenge and my first month @ Scrap the girls there will be a couple of examples to share...... Of course there will be Stuff from mystical and loads of other fun things going on in December. As you can proberly tell I love challenges as they get the mojo flowing and gets my albums full!

Over @ mystical we are having A 4 week comp and its all about christmas. So if you want to get out your Xmas photos and scrap up a storm then head on over! This is my example for a challenge I set for week 2. There are 2 challenges per week and we have set quite easy criteria to get the creative juices flowing. New ones will be up on Monday.

Some Newbies

The "grown up" page is for Mysticals Insperational monthly challenge, go on over and have a look at all the other monthly challenges and also the christmas challenge. The "Starting Young" page is one for Puzzles sketches monthly challenge. this is the first time I have done this challenge and I loved it.... So I am going to try and give it a go every month :)

Sally's Scrap Shop Kits

These 4 pages i did for examples for my LSS Scrap Shop for the MME Laundry Line Kits. I have only used just what is in the kit but you can personize them with other bits and pieces. One kit is the boys line and the other is the girls line.

A little update

Firstly there is a comp that is going to start in a week over at mystical......

Over @ WW1 the monthly colour is Lime and scollops with white as the main colour. The swaps are going really well with this months (being RED) filled up enough for 2 different sets of swaps... So WOW how cool is that! Only 2 weeks to go to get your November Lime Los in :)

Just a couple of newbies :)

This is the monthly challenge over @ SAVVY. Its the scraplift and I must add I LOVE this lo design....... I think its similar to a pencilines sketch I have done a couple of times (That would be 3 times! now 4...) this Lo is on my DD and my neice. they both get along so well even with the age difference. Kyra is almost 18 and with Ash being just 4. They are just so funny...... you get the camera out and they pose nothing is ever natural anymore!










This is the November sketch 63 over at STUCK!. This one of my DD is a classic, it was one of those "Glad I had the camera" photo's..... She loves to dress up and now I think she has a fetish for handbags!!

Here is this months White with 1 challenge, Lime green and scollop's and of course the dominate colour being WHITE. Here is my example. There is also a new swap for this month which is RED so go on over to WW1 to see the requirements for the swap.









This Page I did for Stuck Ct call out. I missed the last 2 weeks of it, which was a bit sad but that's life........ But well done to the girls that got on the Ct I can't wait to give the sketches a go to be in the running for some prizes!!

More CC challenges

Here is Challenge 2 for the CC @ SAVVY. the challenge was to use an old Lo and make a retake on it. I have used one that I did around 3 years ago. It wasn't one of my worst ones. I only did one that I had a photo already in my stash. It was great Fun redoing a page for Fun. I wouldn't ever replace the old ones that I ahev done as they are real great to look back on.

Paperific example Lo's

These pages I did are for KSK for paperific... I showcased the new Sass Lass Hog Heaven. 3 different versions of the range..... They are double sided so you get value for money. One side on 2 pieces actually had different size journal blocks which was great to use.
I wont be going to Paperific but a few of my friends are, so have fun Girlsxxxxxxxx

I haven't yet journaled on these as I didn't want to make them too personal when they are going to be used for examples. You also may have noticed that they are not my normal embellished style of Lo but I have used only the paper range products with a few Carolee's and Alpha's and pearls.

Pages from CC this weekend

Well what a weekend for CC. I have tried to get some of them done as I LOVE a good CC!! These one's I am loading now are from Savvy's CC. I have a few more to load maybe tomorrow when I finish them!
On another note...... My DH has left today to go to the Police Academy in Hobart for training for the next 8 months. I am very proud of him as it took alot to get in there and he worked real hard at it.

This is the page I did for Challenge #3 for Savvy's CC this weekend. The challenge was to use a quote from a movie which I used Ashlee's favorite Quote "Shake and Bake" It is from a Will Ferrell movie that she just LOVES. She watches over and over again.

The Challenge was to use Pink, white and black. Pink being the one most used. While trying to do this challenge I relised that I don't really have much pink PP so I will have to go and purchase some I think as I really love this combo.

I love AFL grand finals!!

I had a wonderful weekend of scrapping! The kids and DH wanted to watch the AFL grand final and so I got to scrap! I went to a craft group with the girls on Friday and then went to Susan's on Friday night and scrapped up a storm then as well. All I can say is that I'm on fire this weekend, in total I got 5 Lo's done. I can load 3 now and the other 2 after the 1st of October as they are challenge examples for white with 1 and Mystical's monthly challenges. So since it is still the weekend today I think I will scrap se while the Kids and DH wash the cars, or I could help........... maybe just for a little while. py scrapping :)



This page I did for a monthly challenge over at SAVVY . You had to use a page from a book and I used a page from one of my DS comic books. As soon as I read the challenge I new what photo I wanted to use and then it was off to raid the comic books! so that I didn't ruin his books I just used an add page that was in the book, he has all these really old comic books that we got from the second hand book shop. He really loves them the old style with the "speech bubbles" as he calls them. I have used Cosmo PP and scenic route PP, the embelies are from swaps (Thanks girls) and from my stash. Bailey was 41/2 in this photo, isn't he cute!

I really loved this photo my DH took of my DS at my dad's 60th birthday in August. She has it up to her ear because she couldn't hear it as we were in a restaurant and it was very noisy. She really loves her DS and takes it anywhere where she has to wait or long drives etc.... I have used sass lass PP that I thought suited the photo really well and I made the embellishment's by using urban Lilly rubons on chipboard and punched scallop. The butterfly was from a swap (thanks wendy). I loved how this page turned out. It's now one of my favorites.





This page I did for SAVVY's monthly challenge. You had to make your own PP by using stamps. I have grunge it up a bit with using a Stamp-it up roller stamp (thanks Sue) on a piece of CS and then pinking the edges. I am now totally in love with that stamp now! I think I will have to buy one..... I have used some embellishment's from swaps (thanks girls) and one's I have made from stamped images, and of course I have used my favorite combo... red & black. The picture was just perfect for it.

Not to good at editing!

I needed to edit a couple of posts to remove some Lo's that were selected for publication and I ended up deleting them OOPS!!.......... I have now worked it out now but removed 3 posts while doing so!
So I will re-post the Lo's at some point in time.
As you can see I have changed a few things around aswell....... Those who know me know that my most favorite colour to scrap in are RED and BLACK so I thought it was fitting to change it to a Black back ground. I just need a little help from Susan L (who set the blog up for me) to navigate the other things I need to know how to do!

My Dt kit pages for Mystical

This is a Page I have done with my Dt Kit for September from Mystical.
My Kit contained 4 different sheets of vintage moon pp's, 3 pieces white CS, black buttons and piece of ric-rac. I have tried to make all 3 pages different which I thought was going to be hard, but I was reall happy with how they came out. This is a photo of my DD when she was just 1. It was her first time walking on her own around the City Park. There was no more pram after that!

This page is of our Holiday this year to Queensland. As you all know if you go to Qld you just have to go to all the theme parks. But when we went it was when it was really WET. The rain poured every day we were there, but that didn't stop us we went every where!
On this page I have usedfrom the DT kit are CS, "Vintage Moon" PP and the other various stuff is from my stash.










Ashlee and Ashton just before we went to the Hi-5 concert in Launceston. I just loved this photo of the 2 of them, they look so cute. Can't wait to show Ashton this when he is 14 when he so dosen't want to be around GIRLS!!

So a good nights scrapping for me! All done in a few hours last Afternoon/night. I was on a roll! Mojo flowing here....... Now I just want to scrap all day today! but I think my DS will have something to say about that!

New embossing folders

This Lo I did for a LSS, KSK showing the new embossing folders for the cuttlebug. This was a photo I took of my DD at a widlife park in August. I just love the Photo so I had to scrap it!











This Lo I did for a challenge over at SAVVY. Its the monthly Ad challenge by Kerryn. This photo is of my DS at the snow this year. It was snowing that hard that he couldn't even look at the camera. But it was just like a "Winter wonderland". The kids loved it.

Here is the page I did for Mystical's Gladiator challenge. The Challenge was set by the forum members which was considored a "Revenge Challenge"..... It was a 6 criteria challenge which was:

* 5 different colours (No less no more)

* Stitching

* Hand made embelies

* doodling.
