A photo to share

My little girls first day at school today and I had to share this photo of her, she looks so grown up!! There were no tears from either of us, she was just so excited to be a big girl and be going to school on her own. Now I am home alone 2 days a week, I should be able to get some scrapping done!

Whats happening @ STG for Febuary

Well my efforts on the scrapping front are a bit lacking atm...... I'm hoping that the creative juices start flowing soon so I can share some pages with you all. But on a sharing note.... Over at Scrap the girls they are having a "Show us some of your LOVE" pages. So head on over to scrap the girls and email them in.

Ephemera
Use ephemera, something that is non scrap related but that will relate to your layout you are creating. For example, you could have taken the kids to the movies and use the tickets, a concert ticket or something else from a trip on your layout or a gretting card from a birthday or Christmas or a new baby, clothes tags, etc...

Some Febuary Ct examples

This is my example for White with 1 for Febuary. This is my Last month on the Ct, I have had a wonderful 12 months with the team and now its somebody elses turn to have a go!! So stay tuned for the CT call out. This months criteria is all white. This page is about when my DD asked to have a shorter hairstyle, she has gone from hair down to the middle of her back to a bob style. She just loves it and thinks she is so grown up!!

Here is the Example for Scrap the boys for Febuary. The criteria for this month is The out doors and the other requirment is stamping. This page is about my DS on Christmas day having a swim in Susan Longmans DS and DD swimming pool they got off Santa. It was just a little fresh in the water.... As you can see with the facial expressions.

A couple of photos to share

On the weekend we went to Hobart for the weekend for a bit of a break.... While there we went to Cliffton Beach for a swim. It was really overcast and windy but really HOT. So I got some photos while there and was having a bit of a play around with the exposure and colour when I laoded them on the computer and I loved how these 2 turned out. I love playing around with the photos I have heaps of our weekend away, we went to Port Aurthur as well so there will be some Lo's to come with those ones!
